How to block and report someone

Where Block and Report profile are, what a block does, and what to write when you report someone.
A closed front door, with a phone face down on a side table.

Open their profile. Beside the note about an issue with the profile you will see Report profile and Block. Report is for us. Block is for you. You can use both, and you do not have to warn them first.

Block means they cannot message you on Only Dating, and you cannot message them. Use it when someone will not stop, when a conversation has turned unpleasant, or when you simply do not want to hear from them again. If you change your mind, Unblock is on the same profile.

Report profile opens a form. Say what happened, and name the member. If you would rather start from the form itself, Abuse in the footer asks for their username and the reason. Keep it factual. A request for money, a threat, a fake story, or anything involving a child is enough. You do not need to win an argument in the box.

Do not keep replying while you decide. A block stops the messages. Arguing gives them another turn. If they asked you to move to WhatsApp, or to pay a fee, say that. Those details are more useful than a list of insults.

We review reports. Accounts that are not real people, and accounts that break the rules, are removed. If you have already sent money, contact your bank as well. The report tells us. It does not recall a payment.

You can block someone you simply do not want to talk to. You do not need a dramatic reason. Stopping contact is allowed. The guide on fake profiles is there if you are unsure whether what you saw is a scam or just a poor fit.
