Your profile is for people who have an Only Dating account and are signed in. Someone who is not signed in is sent to log in. The page is not published for search engines, and it is not a public web page with your name on it.
What they see is the username you chose, your age, your town and county, and the photos and words you put there. They can also see whether you have been online recently. That is the introduction. It is not a copy of your life.
It does not show your surname, your home address, your workplace, or your phone number, unless you type those into the profile yourself. Do not. The writing-a-profile guide is there for what belongs in the words, and what does not.
Messages stay in the inbox. A conversation with one member is not pinned to the profile for the next person to read. Likes and favourites are not a public list of who you have spoken to.
If you have done the optional age check, the profile can show that the check was done. It does not print the name on your document. The check is about explicit photos, which stay blurred for anyone who has not chosen to see them.
Pick a username you are willing for other members to see. A stranger searching the web for your surname will not land on the profile. A member who already has an account can open it, which is the point of being on the site. If you do not want a particular person to keep looking, block them. The guide on blocking explains the button.
