Dating a younger man

What to say if you want to meet a younger man, and why both ages belong on the profile.
A woman and a younger man sharing a coffee at a bright café table.

Say both ages, or both decades, in the first lines. "I am in my forties and I would like to meet a man in his thirties" is a profile a younger man can answer. A photo from this year matters more when the gap is the point, because an old photo hides the fact you came here to offer.

He has to be an adult. Only Dating is 18 and over. A younger man means a man, with his own age written down, not a teenager and not someone whose age you are hoping to overlook. If the gap is large, say the number. People who want a peer will skip it. People who like the gap will answer it. You do not have to pretend you are his age to get that reply.

Dating in your forties and fifties is the page about your own decade. Dating in your thirties is his, if that is the decade you mean. Dating an older man is the gap the other way around. The first meeting is still a few messages, a video call, then a public place. Meeting someone safely is that order. An age gap is not a reason to skip it, and it is not a reason to send a photo you cannot take back.

Ignore the message that is only about the gap and has not read anything else you wrote. You do not owe a stranger a more explicit picture to prove your age is real. Only Dating is free to join and free to message. We will never ask you for a fee. If someone does, before you have met, read the romance-scam guide.
