Dating an older man

What to say if you want to meet an older man, and why both ages belong on the profile.
A woman and an older man sharing a coffee at a café table.

Say both ages, or both decades, in the first lines. "I am in my thirties and I would like to meet a man in his fifties" is a profile an older man can answer. A photo from this year matters, because the gap is the point and an old picture hides your side of it.

He has to be an adult, and so do you. Only Dating is 18 and over. Say the number if the gap is large. People who want a peer will skip the profile. People who like the gap will answer it. You do not have to pretend you are older, and you do not have to accept a man who has lied about his age. Dating a younger man is the page for the gap the other way around. Dating in your thirties or your forties and fifties is your own decade.

The first meeting is still a few messages, a video call, then a public place. Meeting someone safely is that order. An older man who wants the meeting at his house, or a photo you cannot take back, has skipped it. You can refuse.

Only Dating is free to join and free to message. We will never ask you for a fee. If he does, before you have met, read the romance-scam guide. Age does not make that pattern rarer.
